My Town Hall Meeting is this week -- and so is the Coastal Restoration Authority

Friends,

The Louisiana Coastal Restoration and Protection Authority (CRPA) will hold a public hearing in Mandeville this Wednesday, Jan. 25, to update the public on its annual plan, including the 2017 Coastal Master Plan. There will be an open house at the David Treen Technology Center, 2024 Livingston St., starting at 3:30, and a formal presentation beginning at 5:30.

Unfortunately, this meeting was scheduled after I planned my own Town Hall Meeting for the citizens of District II, which will be held at City Hall the same night, starting at 6:30 p.m. Fortunately, the timing will allow you to attend both.

I hope to see you on Wednesday, and please spread the word. If you're unable to attend the CRPA event, you can learn more at http://coastal.la.gov/2017. And, of course, you can always contact me about any city-related concerns.

Sincerely,

Mike

Other upcoming meetings:

Jan. 26: Regular City Council meeting at City Hall, 6 p.m.

Feb. 1: The third and final Planning and Zoning Commission Special Meeting to discuss the Council's findings with regard to Port Marigny. 7 p.m. at the Spitzfaden Community Center.

Feb. 9: City Council meeting, 6 p.m., location to be determined but I suspect it will be at the Community Center.
