How do I change the address on my registration?
You may have the address corrected by sending your written request along with a copy of your certificate of registration and a check, or money order or cashier check in the amount of $12.00 to the below address. (A drivers license number, telephone number, and street address must be included or your check will be returned)
OR you may take the certificate of registration to your local Office of Motor Vehicles to have the transaction processed. Proof of insurance is required on all motor vehicle transactions.
Fee: $12.00 (a local fee may apply which will not exceed $4)
Acceptable methods of payment for vehicle registration transactions are as follows: Face to Face Transactions:
Credit cards, debit cards, cash, money orders, electronic funds transfer and E-checks. A transaction fee will be assessed for payments made with a credit/debit card and E-checks as indicated below:
Credit/Debit - $1.25 plus 1% of transaction total
E-checks - $1.00
Refer to Section IV, Policies 61.00 for additional information. NOTE: You must also have the address corrected on your driver's license. This transaction must be done in person at your local Office of Motor Vehicles.
